Senior Sales Account Manager

Essential Functions
  • Create focused goals and action plan to achieve objectives and execute plan 
  • Business development, closing business, and achieving sales goals per plan and go to market 
  • Management and development of sales territory 
  • Develop strong partnerships with Oracle corporate and field personnel to grow sales 
  • Develop large accounts and sell to multiple functions within account, including IT, marketing, sales, HR, purchasing, and supply chain management 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Fishbowl team and other key stakeholders
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of Fishbowl's and competitors' products and services
  • Support marketing programs
  • Demonstrate regular and effective communication to internal and external customers, key partners, and management
  • Manage sales pipeline, cycle, and process, and consistently utilize consultative selling skills to uncover differentiated needs, make high impact presentations, and efficiently and effectively close sales
  • Maintain updated customer information and records in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system daily
  • Keep company information confidential
  • Maintain professional behavior at all times to focus on exceptional customer service
Required Experience/Skills
  • Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years of sales/business development experience; large account management in software/technology industry with a proven track record of success 
  • ECM, Imaging, Portal, or business process management (BPM) experience preferred
  • 5+ years of selling consultative services in industries such as manufacturing, financial services, public sector, and healthcare is preferred 
  • Experience in consultative sales (understanding customer requirements and mapping customer needs to technology and/or set services) 
  • Experience calling on and presenting to C-Suite and VP-level executives in IT and other business line functions 
  • Solid background in successfully meeting and exceeding sales goals 
  • An understanding of Oracle products and services is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong customer service orientation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Senior-level relationships with IT/business departments within businesses
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft CRM, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to partner events, tradeshows, customer calls, and new business meetings
