Inside Sales Software Representative

Fishbowl Solutions is actively seeking an individual to be a significant contributor to execute on and grow our inside software sales strategy. In addition to the requirements below, the individual must be a proven self-starter who wants to be rewarded based on performance and growth.  This person will prospect and sell the full suite of Fishbowl Solutions software products and services. This person will need to be an independent, self motivated person who can work with minimal supervision.  The ideal candidate is someone who has been successful in an inside sales role but is looking for more growth and advancement. We have a database of prospects that has been untapped. The goal for this individual is 2 fold:

1.      Generate a large number of outbound calls to prospects and current customers

2.      Sell Fishbowl Custom Components and generate leads for consulting services.

Responsibilities:

  • Make a large number of outbound calls to existing customers and prospects
  • Build and Manage a forecast and sales funnel
  • Monitor email forums as a resource to generate leads
  • Attend Regional User Groups and deliver presentations
  • Face to face meetings with customers when appropriate
  • Log information into a CRM system
  • Calling on technical and mid-level individuals to generate leads
  • Write clear, insightful, actionable reports
  • Follow Sales methodologies in CustomerCentric Selling and Think Like Your Customer

Required and/or Additional skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-5 years of prior sales experience
  • Experience with cold calling and generating activities
  • Prior experience with writing effective proposals
  • Highly competitive – high school or varsity athletic or other (debate, chess club, etc) experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience
  • Knowledge of document/content management and engineering industries is advantageous but not required
