        - Responsive Web design is an approach that suggests that design and development should respond to the user’s behavior and environment according to screen size, platform, and orientation. Adaptive Web design is about creating interfaces that adapt to the user’s capabilities and device in terms of touch, voice integration, and so on. In this session, learn how to take the next step with your Oracle WebCenter Portal and update the layout, skins, page styles, and portlets to make them truly responsive and adaptive to provide support for any device to access your Oracle WebCenter Portal environment without the need to create a mobile/tablet application. Hear pros and cons of this methodology and how this may not be the right approach to take for your users and their journey through the portal.

        - Come hear a case study that profiles how Veolia Environmental Services used Oracle SOA Suite 11g to do integration with Release 9 of Oracle’s PeopleSoft product family, using many different approaches. VESNA was able to use SOA to achieve a flexible enterprise architecture by utilizing industry standards and best practices. This session explains the business use case and how Oracle SOA Suite 11g was utilized, and it provides details on how different integration methods were used with the PeopleSoft product family.

      • Improved Integration Agility with Oracle SOA Suite 2.0 and the Event Delivery Network
        - The new Event Delivery Network component of Oracle SOA Suite 11g helps businesses better achieve agility by providing a central event coordination platform for publishers and consumers of logical business events. Service-oriented architecture is about driving business agility by developing services that are decoupled and reusable. The Event Delivery Network is a key component of implementing that strategy. This session explains and shows what Oracle SOA Suite’s Event Delivery Network is, how and when to use it, why it should be used over other messaging infrastructures such as Java Message Service (JMS) and Oracle Advanced Queuing, and what event-driven architecture patterns it enables.
