Lightweight Advanced Messaging for Oracle ECM 11g with Fishbowl Solutions’ Subscription Notifier

Subscription Notifier is a rules-based messaging engine for Oracle UCM 11g. This latest version enables users to not only identify items for which they want automatic email notifications, but also to create cascading messages for periodic reviews. A typical example is when policies and procedures, managed in Oracle UCM 11g, need yearly reviews. Users identify the item or items to be reviewed and the period of the review cycle. Now, in version 3.4 for Oracle UCM 11g, users are also able to define cascading rules for criteria driven escalations. For example, if policy owners need to perform yearly reviews, they can be notified 4 weeks ahead of the review due date. If no review occurs then an escalation review notification can be sent out to a manager or administrator. These cascading messages can continue until the original period elapses or the review criteria is met.
In addition to cascading messaging, Fishbowl Solutions’ Subscription Notifier software for Oracle UCM 11g provides lightweight system-to-system messaging with its robust callback capabilities. Service Oriented Architecture systems benefit from Subscription Notifier’s ability to invoke services on a scheduled or escalated basis even as it sends out notifications to key business stakeholders.
