linkAccess Dynamic™
Dynamically create PDF specification sheets based on part attributes and include associated document content
How it Works
- Parts are created and attributes defined using the standard Windchill menus
- Parts can be associated with any applicable CAD documents
- Dynamic publishing in linkAccess is typically configured to occur when an object is promoted to a given Lifecycle
- Part attributes are formatted into a PDF based on a configurable XLT transform
- Associated document viewables are appended to the resulting PDF which is then attached as primary viewable to the Part.
- Allows for Permanent Watermarks that are visible in Adobe Reader outside of Windchill
linkAccess Dynamic Product Specifications
- Extends the linkAccess Trigger functionality to provide the dynamic creation of Product Specification Sheets
- Template based formatting capabilities
- Can append viewables from associated documents to the generated PDF
- Thumbnails and configurable “burned-in” watermarks
- Supports multi-valued attributes (for example: multiple manufacturer part numbers will all be included)
