Triggers™
Triggers listens for Oracle® events, such as check-in, promote, or approve, and automatically creates deliverables in Pro/INTRALINK®.
Fishbowl’s Trigger solutions provide users with the opportunity to automate and integrate to their fullest capabilities. Triggers work with Pro/INTRALINK to provide specialized rule checking that is initiated by Pro/INTRALINK events.
A sampling of Fishbowl’s current Trigger offerings:
• Attribute Check Trigger
Blocks check-in if certain specified attributes are left blank.
• Capitalization Trigger
Forces attributes to all capital letters.
• Check Out Trigger Message
A configurable message will appear upon check out.
• XML Trigger
Exports metadata from Pro/INTRALINK on promote. Can be configured to export parameter, BOM and dependency information in XML format.
• ModelCheck Trigger
Prevents check-in if the designated number of ModelCheck errors and/or warnings exists within the file.
• Name Validation Trigger
Ensures that parts/assemblies and their associated drawing have the same name.
• Release Check Trigger
Blocks the check-in of a new version of a released object at the same revision.
• Rename Block Trigger
Blocks renaming an object if it is at a defined released level.
• Save Trigger
Upon saving, a configurable message will appear if the file is at a defined released level.
