Utilities / Energy
Fishbowl Solutions has a tradition of implementing and designing UCM solutions how our customers want and when our customers want. Our work in the utilities and energy industry prove it. In the summer of 2008, we provided an on time and on budget WCM solution for a large energy corporation in just 6 weeks time.

Oracle UCM Hardware and Software Architecture Analysis and Design
One of the world’s largest privately held companies, which owns companies involved in refining and chemicals, pollution control; minerals and fertilizers and financial trading and services selected Fishbowl to analyze their current security model and to recommend a configuration for maximum performance and usability.
Manufacturing “Corrective Action” Workflow Process Design and Implementation
A manufacturer of a wide range of medium and high voltage electrical equipment for the utility and industrial markets partnered with Fishbowl to automate their process for handling corrective action procedures to ensure ISO certification. In this solution, Fishbowl developed a dynamic Content Server form (.hcsf) which took the place of 4 paper forms. The process eliminated a great deal of paper and provided electronic tracking and routing, making the entire process much faster and more efficient.
Non-Conformance Report (NCR) Form and Workflow Design and Implementation
A worldwide manufacturer of medium and high voltage equipment needed to automate a paper-based process for initiating requests to address issues with non-conforming parts. In order to resolve issues in a timely fashion, the manufacturer wanted to be able to automate a workflow to handle each type of combination. Fishbowl helped the customer automate their non-conformance procedures and put them on-line so issues could be addressed more quickly.

UCM Implementation Customization
An electric utilities company located in the Midwest partnered with Fishbowl to customize their Oracle UCM implementation by integrating a web-based viewer (AutoVue) so users could view and markup various file types, including computer-aided design (CAD) drawings, making this complex and difficult-to-access content type available to downstream users quickly and electronically. The company was able to reduce cycle times and eliminate a great deal of paper and shipping costs from their processes.
New Oracle UCM Design and Implementation
A national provider of alternate and clean energy sources selected Fishbowl to provide a system analysis and then plan, design and implement a brand-new Oracle UCM implementation, including workflow configuration and end-user training.
Oracle WCM Website Redesign and Migration
Oglethorpe Power Corporation (OPC) wanted to redesign their website (OPC.com) to promote their efforts to “go green” through bio-mass power. OPC has been using Oracle Universal Content Management (formerly Stellent) since 2000, and wanted to leverage their familiarity with the system and its Web Content Management (WCM) capabilities to migrate and redesign OPC.COM in time for their green announcement in September, 2008.
