Fishbowl Solutions, an Oracle WebCenter Content and Portal Specialized Partner, has announced the upcoming release of their Mindbreeze InSpire Connector for Oracle WebCenter Content. The Connector enables the Mindbreeze enterprise search appliance to index and serve content stored in Oracle WebCenter Content. The Connector will also allow WebCenter customers to leverage the Mindbreeze Search App Designer to expose a customized search experience within WebCenter Content.

Highlights of the upcoming release include:

• Ability to index document full text and metadata from WebCenter Content
• Authorization support for WebCenter Content security groups, accounts, and access control lists (ACLs)
• Seamless authentication between WebCenter Content and Mindbreeze InSpire
• Ready-to-use Mindbreeze search interface within WebCenter Content
• Support for custom WebCenter search apps built with the Mindbreeze Search App Designer

Mindbreeze InSpire is offered as an on-premise search appliance to unite business facts from organizational data sources into one unified semantic index. InSpire can connect with most enterprise information out of the box, from file shares, SharePoint, to leading databases, both on premise and in the cloud.

With the sunsetting of the Google Search Appliance (GSA) announced last year, the Mindbreeze InSpire Connector for Oracle WebCenter Content provides a search migration path for customers using Fishbowl’s GSA Connector. The Mindbreeze Connector also provides WebCenter customers with a relevancy rich alternative to WebCenter’s built-in Oracle Text and database search options addressing the primary frustration with built in search.

Additional benefits of the integration include:

• Options to search multiple repositories from within Oracle WebCenter Content including SharePoint, file systems, portals, and public websites
• Inherent Mindbreeze search capabilities such as machine-learning relevancy algorithms, entity recognition, type-ahead search suggestions, and custom synonyms

The Mindbreeze InSpire Connector for Oracle WebCenter Content is scheduled for general release at the end of July 2017.
