Fishbowl Solutions Recognizes Mike Hill for Achieving Google Search Appliance Qualified Deployment Specialist Certification
Hill’s Certification Marks the Fourth for Fishbowl Solutions and their Google Practice Team

• Fishbowl Solutions, an Oracle WebCenter Content and Portal Specialized Gold Partner and a Google for Work Partner, announced today that team member Mike Hill received the Google Search Appliance (GSA) Qualified Deployment Specialist certification. This certification is recognized as the highest level of GSA certification possible for Google partners.
• Mike has been with Fishbowl Solutions for two years, and in that time has been working tirelessly to master GSA implementations. The GSA Qualified Deployment Specialist certification demonstrates the deep knowledge he has gained about the GSA’s functionality and methodology. Mike’s past experiences with the GSA have included search integrations, solution designs, implementations, and solution training.
• With the addition of Mike, Fishbowl now has four GSA Qualified Deployment Specialists. Kim Negaard and Greg Bollom achieved the certification in March 2014, and Andy Weaver joined them in March 2015. Fishbowl has had to grow its GSA practice team over the last three years as demand for Google Search in the enterprise has grown. Having multiple GSA Qualified Deployment Specialists on staff further positions Fishbowl to provide comprehensive consulting services to GSA customers for their deployments, integrations, and customizations.
• The GSA is an enterprise search technology developed by Google which builds on the accuracy of search on google.com. The GSA adds business-specific features like query suggestions, synonyms, and document previews to meet enterprise search needs. The GSA can search most enterprise information, including popular document formats, leading databases, and data management systems, and respects the document-level permissions used in enterprise repositories.
• Fishbowl Solutions is a member of the Google Enterprise Partner program. Their value-add software and services for the GSA include the following:
o Reseller – new appliance sales or renewals
o GSA implementation services – configuration assistance, customizations, and training
o WebCenter integration services – GSA integration assistance with Site Studio websites, WebCenter Portal sites, and custom Content Server pages
o GSA Connector for Oracle WebCenter Content – indexes content stored in the Oracle Content Server repository while providing a Google-like search experience to WebCenter users
o GSA Connector for YouTube – includes YouTube videos in website or intranet search results
o GSA Connector for Windchill – indexes content stored in PTC Windchill while providing a Google-like search experience to users
o GSA Portal Search Suite – integrates the GSA with a WebCenter or Liferay portal
